Greg has always been passionate about spending time on the water, from learning to sail on the Charles River to racing catamaran sailboats to windsurfing, waterskiing, wakeboarding and most recently kiteboarding. He and his wife moved to Kingston and the neighborhood of Country Pond over 20 years ago to enjoy its recreational opportunities. He also enjoys hiking, biking, swimming, skiing and boating with his family and dog.
Now retired, Greg has over 35 years of experience in electrical engineering, engineering management, sales, service, marketing and business management. He was the director of a global technology company’s US subsidiary for over 10 years, growing it to be the market leader in its field. In addition to his work for Country Pond Lake Association, he is an alternate member of the Kingston Conservation Commission.
Recent cyanobacteria blooms and increased weed growth have fueled Greg’s desire to do something about the water quality of Country Pond by helping to start a lake association. Greg is highly motivated to ensure that Country Pond Lake Association works with local and state agencies to protect and improve Country Pond. The more he has learned about the issues affecting water quality in the lake, the more convinced he is that Country Pond Lake Association will provide the best opportunity to make a difference.
